Our client is a large industrial group which have its principal activity in extraction, transformation and commercialization of specific minerals. In Europe, their activity is located in France, Spain, Italy and in the UK. Some entities extract and transform minerals and others only have resale activities.
We are looking for an Accounting and Cost Controller for the European subsidiary based in Luxembourg.
Mission
- Auxiliary and general accounting and local statutory accounts.
- Dealing with fiscal issues as VAT regulations and DEB (European declarations). Taking care of the different exchanges with other European countries with non-resident VAT.
- Monthly reporting to the Northern European Controller and quarterly consolidation.
- Audit management and yearly accounts closing.
- Profit and loss accounts analyses of the Group
- Collaboration on a project of cost controlling (launching of new cost controlling tools.)

Your profile/requirements:
· Education: 3 or 4 years degree in Accounting and/or Audit (specialization in commercial companies)
· Experience: 3 to 4 years minimum in an international environment.
· Good knowledge in accounting (auxiliary and general).
· Knowledge in VAT regulations is an asset
· Languages : Fluent English, French and Spanish would be a plus
· Computer skills: Excel, Word, accounting program. Knowledge of an ERP would be a plus.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously. Our client offers a competitive remuneration package as well as a dynamic and very international environment.
